Overview

Beesley & Fildes operates several high-traffic trade counters across the North West. The three units on Wilson Road, Huyton, had been in use for years without any external upgrade, resulting in heavily faded cladding and an inconsistent overall appearance that no longer aligned with the company’s branding.

We were appointed to carry out a full external refurbishment across all three units, with works delivered while the sites remained fully operational.

Objectives & Approach

Full respray of external cladding in Beesley & Fildes’ corporate yellow
Coating of trims and shutters in black to align with brand detailing
Refurbishment and coating of perimeter fencing using a high-durability system
Localised cladding repairs and surface preparation
Coordination with signage contractor for removal and reinstatement
Full masking and protection of surrounding areas, including customer-facing elevations

Project Delivery

All works were undertaken within live trading environments, requiring careful planning around access, sequencing and site management to ensure safe delivery without disruption to staff, customers or vehicle movements.

Preparation works addressed areas of wear and deterioration, ensuring all substrates were suitable for coating. The specified systems were then applied in line with manufacturer guidance to achieve a consistent, long-lasting finish across all elevations.

Result

The completed works have brought the buildings back to a clean, consistent standard that reflects the Beesley & Fildes brand. The refreshed yellow cladding, combined with black trims and shutters, has significantly improved the visibility and presence of the sites.

The applied coating systems also provide ongoing protection to the cladding and external elements, helping to extend their service life and maintain performance over time.

The perimeter fencing, previously weathered and tired, now sits in line with the buildings, creating a more cohesive and well-maintained external environment across all three units.
